Eversharp is focused on maintaining its position as Taiwan's premier maker of plastic handled and zinc alloy products. With the addition of our Professional Forged Division we have our sights set on producing top-of-the-line forgings as well.  We take manufacturing, quality control, and research & development very seriously. In order to do so, we must have machinery that enables us to deliver outstanding quality, as well as equipment that allows us to utilize our engineering talents.

Heat treatment is one of the critical production processes.  By isolating the raw material in an oxygen-free "vacuum" we essentially remove many of the pitfalls of heat treatment.  We can accurately control the tempering and quenching processes, which allow the steel to stabilize evenly.

We've sourced and integrated some upper level machinery from Germany and Japan, as well as included several CNC automated pieces of equipment to help give accuracy and precision to our operation. 

Our magnification equipment allows us to probe deep into the molecular make-up of the steel. 

Rockwell testing equipment measures the HRC (hardness) of the steel.  We typically run 5 test spots on each blade we QC; and then we plot the data on a Hardness Distribution Graph.  Eversharp's strict controls do not allow for more than +/- 1 degree in the Rockwell readings.

Although a Rockwell Tester is fairly standard, our complete range of QC equipment is rarely seen among Asian manufacturers in the industry.  But we feel that high level testing and analysis is critical for providing reliability from the first piece to the last piece of each production lot.
